Hi, I’m Emma—a Los Angeles-based photographer with nearly a decade of experience in the food industry. My passion for photography and storytelling began on my dorm room floor at Duke University, where I’d escape academic stress by creating top-down recipe videos (yes, those Tasty-style ones). My creativity flourished, and soon, I became “the food girl” on campus, building a food blog, formerly known as Inspired Foody, that marked the start of my journey.
My first clients were The Blender Girl and KitchenAid, where I turned cookbook recipes into eye-catching "Tasty" videos. From there, I landed deals with household names like Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Godiva Chocolate, and BuzzFeed, becoming an expert in recipe videos and food photography. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with brands like Irv’s Burgers, Prince Street Pizza, Doughbrik’s Pizza, and the University of Southern California—helping them create commercial-grade content, refine their brand presence, and captivate their audiences.
I feel incredibly fortunate that my creative work has been featured in Forbes and on KTLA twice, allowing me to share my expertise and passion for food and photography with a wider audience.
Today, I specialize in bold, textured, and macro-style studio photography that tells a story. I aim to make people eat with their eyes first, crafting images that evoke hunger, community, and connection. Based in LA but open to travel, I’m ready to take on new projects and bring your vision to life.
